One of my favorite zombie games. Getting to run your own base and recruit survivors is exactly what a survival game needs. Collecting resources, doing missions and keeping up with morale makes it feel lively and its nice to discover survivor's traits too. I'm surprised that there aren't a lot of open world zombie games with this style out there but that just makes this one easy to go back to. Got it on early access when it was full of bugs and glitches; it still has quite a few at this point but year one survival edition is out to give a better graphical experience. I would recommend buying that one instead based on the improvements it made on the base game.. I love when they remove versions of a game from the store. THEY'RE TOTALLY THE SAME \/s. Scammy Business practice, they re-released an updated version of this and stopped development here.So they effectively scammed me out of updates. If they think that makes me buy the updated version they are dead wrong. Never bying anything from them ever again.Wish Steam had a publisher blacklist feature.. There is so much promised in this game, fun characters, survival in the post apocalypse, scrappy folks who just want to survive. Instead what you get is wasting your goddamn time trying to survive in the hellscape that is no working mechanics. Will your settlement happiness ever be good? no. Will any character you like survive, even when you try your hardest? no? can you \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ing even run? no. you cant run in this game, just try. there is no do, there is only die. 0\/5 stars, this game deserved to die and then disappoint us again after the rerelease.
